Susan McLeod, Orchestra of One...and Rhode Island native has entertained audiences as a professional musician for over twenty-five years.  Her incomparable multi-instrumental arrangements encompass a wide variety of musical genres from standards to contemporary creating the perfect ambiance to compliment weddings, rehearsal parties, cocktail hours, corporate events, holiday parties, wine tasting events, anniversary parties, restaurants, fundraising events, film/television, and cruises.  Susan's original multi-instrumental arrangements are performed live in "real-time" on a 120 bass keyboard accordion, without pre-recorded audio or MIDI sound track files.   

During her youth...Susan studied classical music throughout greater Providence with several prominent teachers, including Tulio Gasperini and Lou Ludovico.  While competing as a virtuoso soloist, she was awarded 1st Place in the Rhode Island State Championship competition, in addition to receiving numerous other state, regional and national awards!  

Throughout her young adulthood...Susan was a member of several highly successful bands performing throughout New England, including Bill Rossi's - All in the Family, and appeared regularly at the oceanfront landmark Ocean House in Watch Hill, RI.   

Today...as a member of the American Federation of Musicians, Susan's passion for music and her commitment to the advancement of the accordion, are exemplified through her multi-instrumental original arrangements.  Referred to as an "An Orchestra of One", her innovative music is the result of integrating the acoustical accordion with state-of-the-art music technology.  The instrumentation within Susan's arrangements include, but are not limited to, keyboards, brass, strings, bass and percussion, which emulates a multiple piece orchestra or band. Her song selections are originally arranged and performed live in "real-time" without the use of pre-recorded music or MIDI files.  The culmination of these uniquely combined elements are presented to audiences through the unsurpassed audio quality of the BOSE® L1 amplification system.
